MY MEGANTARA EXPERIENCE

Hello everyone! welcome back to my blog! this time, i wanna tell you about my megantara experience even though i'm kind of late to the game because it's already a week from it hahah.

In the morning before megantara, my school also held a parade around Bandung city but not too far from Bali field. I arrived at Bali field around 8.00am wearing a kebaya and samping and waited with my friends til 9.00am which is when the parade started. the parade was also livened by kindergarten students which is so cute and adorable, they were wearing traditional clothes, animal costumes, and many more. there was also Reog Ponorogo and traditional music player. the 10th grader of my school, sang a song about megantara so loudly and the  kindergarten sang children song so loudly too which is great because it catches the attention of people on the street so that they know about megantara and come.

After that long walk that we've had, we went back to Bali field and took our backpacks, me, Karina, Nadine, and Qinthara went to Karina's house at Java street because her house is so close to Bali field. We rested and change clothes there, and then i came home because i was so sweaty and i want to take a shower so that i was fresh and clean at megantara.

I came back to Bali field around 1pm and i meet my friends. I was kind of regretting that i didn't became the committee of megantara because they all looked so cool wearing the uniforms and people from other schools will know that they are students of SMAN 3 Bandung that worked hard for this amazing event. Oh yeah, i haven't even tell you what megantara is. Megantara is a cultural festival that held by SMAN 3 Bandung. The area was divided to Java, Sumatra, Sulawesi, Kalimantan, and Papua area. It all decorated so beautifully by the decoration team. The stage was so huge and was placed at the main field. There was so many food stands and food trucks that sells all kind of food and beverages. From traditional food to western food was in there.

Me and Karina bought an ice cream and ate it together and took a lot of photos together. We walked around the Bali field and met a lot of friends from my old school. It was nice to meet them after a long time not seeing them. At first, me and my friends wanted to go to the ghost house but we changed our minds because the queue was too long, so we decided to watch the fashion show.

There was still more performances but we decided to pray ashar first. We walked around the area and buy more food of course, but some of my friends had to came home early. It gets more crowded as time goes by so we decided to get back to the crowd to watch more performances. The mayor of Bandung, Mr. Ridwan Kamil also came to the stage and gave appreciation. He said that he supports this event because it has a cultural value in it.

The perfomances was amazing especially from TST. They were all so energetic and entertaining. Then, the mc gave a break to the crowd to pray. After the break, we came back to the crowd and that's when things get so exciting. The Changcuters came to the stage and killed it. They were so energetic and could make the crowds dance with them.

To be honest, i like The Changcuters performance more than RAN's.  And then RAN came to the stage and also did a great performance.

But i only watch half of their performance because my parents already waited for me.

That's all my post for today. It was such an amazing experience and I'm so proud of megantara. The committee team did such a great job at making megantara such a spectacular event.
p.s all the pictures is from the photography team who did an amazing job.
